Introducing our new stator exchange for the Stephan VCM 40 (Two Speed). This exchange program is perfect for customers who need their mixer up and running as quickly as possible. If you have the time to wait to have your stator repaired, you can send it to us without a core deposit charge.
There are two types of motors for the VCM 40. This motor is for the newer Stephan VCM 40 models. This will not work if you have an older Stephan/Hobart VCM 40. The Stephan/Hobart VCM 40s have a motor that is smooth on the outside, so please make sure your motor looks like the one pictured on this product page.
How does it work?
Simply purchase the stator and return your old stator after you complete the install. The core deposit will be refunded in full once we receive your old stator. In order to refund your deposit, you must provide a copy of your invoice or contact information inside the box. The rewound stator will arrive in a crate to use to return the core.
Why do you need a core deposit?
Due to the scarcity of used stator, we need to make sure we have enough in stock to continue this exchange program. The core deposit is an incentive to return your old stator and allow us to help customers just like you.
How do you repair the stators?
The stators are completely rewound to factory specifications with all new copper wire. After the rewind, the stators are coated and baked for maximum electrical and mechanical stability.
