VCM Rebuild Service
We preform equipment rebuilds on a daily basis with our full service fabrication and equipment refurbishment department .
We rebuild all Berkel, Stephan and Hobart Vertical Cutter/Mixers (VCM) 25, 40 and 44 models. We have turned the worst of machines into brand new, factory condition.
We offer affordable freight options and handle all the pick ups and deliveries for you. Our expertly trained technicians carefully inspect every working aspect of the rebuild to ensure it leaves our facility ready for years of production.

The cost for our standard rebuild starts at $995 per mixer plus freight both ways.
TIME FRAME
Our rebuild typically takes 2-4 weeks to complete and can depend on cosmetic options.

SCOPE OF WORK
Our standard rebuild consists of a full inspection of the mixer and the removal of the rotor for the bearing replacement. We replace both upper and lower bearings with high quality, double sealed, grease packed ball bearings. All electronics, motors and safety mechanisms are checked for 100% functionality. We finish the job with the installation of new a bowl seal and shaft sleeve.

Our only request is that you strap the mixer to a pallet prior to the scheduled pickup. Before the truck arrives at your location we will e-mail you the paperwork for the shipment. Once the mixers arrive to our shop we'll contact you with our initial equipment review.

VCM 44 ATTACHMENT SHAFT REPAIR
A common problem with the VCM 44 is damage to the attachment shaft caused from blade hop. With our full service machine shop, we are able to repair damaged top motor shaft without having to replace the entire rotor.

VCM 44 ROTOR EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Introducing our new rotor exchange for the Stephan VCM 44. This exchange program is perfect for customers who need their mixer up and running as quickly as possible.
If you have the time to wait to have your rotor repaired, you can mail your rotor to us without a core deposit charge.

STATOR REWIND
Due to the high cost of replacing a specialized motor, most of customers take advantage of our stator rewind service.
All of the windings are replaced during the rebuild, dipped into a varnish tank and then set to cure in an oven.
This service is priced at $1215 + return shipping.
BLADE SHARPENING
We offer a blade sharpening service with a fast turn around time. This service costs $25 a blade plus return shipping.
If you're interested in this service simply send you blades to our location with your contact information in the box. Once the sharpening is complete we will contact you for payment and ship them back. It's that easy!
