Introducing our new rotor exchange for the Stephan VCM 44. This exchange program is perfect for customers who need their mixer up and running as quickly as possible. If you have the time to wait to have your rotor repaired, you can mail your rotor to us without a core deposit charge.

How does it work?

Simply purchase the rotor and return your old rotor after you complete the install. The core deposit will be refunded in full once we receive your old rotor. In order to refund your deposit, you must provide a copy of your invoice or contact information inside the box.

Why do you need a core deposit?

Due to the scarcity of used rotors, we need to make sure we have enough in stock to continue this exchange program. The core deposit is an incentive to return your old rotor and allow us to help customers just like you.

Note: A full core refund depends on the condition of the shaft of the rotor. Please read more information at the bottom of this page.

How do you repair the rotors?

Our manufacturing process is very thorough and includes a new machined rotor top. We completely chop off the top of the damaged rotor and machine it to accept a new extension of material. We use the exact same, premium stainless steel material as OEM.

The rotor top is tig welded to the extension and turned smooth on a lathe. The final step is using a 4th axis CNC mill to precision machine the rotor to OEM specifications.

Options:

Bearings: If you would like us to install new bearings on the rotor prior to shipping it out, please select the option above. We press them on the rotor prior to shipment.
Blade Holder Insert: All VCM 44 blades are held in place by the pressure of the product being mixed. During heavy mixing operations (such as dough kneading) the blade can bounce or hop on occasion, causing damage to the motor shaft. The blade holder insert prevents the blade from jumping out of place. This is the perfect product to protect your investment.

Here's how the insert and blind stopper works:

Rotor Core Deposit Disclaimer

A full core refund depends on the condition of the shaft of the rotor. The shaft pictured below has grinding damage down the entire length of the rotor. Due to the increased material cost and labor, the core deposit refund may be reduced by 15%.
