Bowl Seal Conversion Kit for the VCM 40 - Old Style to New Style

With this exclusive JPM PARTS kit, you'll be able to upgrade your VCM 40 bowl seal system from the old-style to the newer, screw-in design.

This kit includes:

• QTY 1 - Threaded Insert
• QTY 4 - Plugs

⚠️ ONLY USE STAINLESS STEEL WIRE ⚠️

Threaded Insert: The OD of the insert is stepped and is installed from the bottom side of the bowl. Place the threaded insert in the bowl and make four 1/2" long stich welds, bottom side. IMPORTANT: Make sure the insert remains flat when welding.

Plugs: These plugs also install from the bottom side of the bowl. You can make a few tack welds on the bottom side to hold the plugs in place. Fully weld in place on the inside of the bowl, adding wire and sand smooth. There should not be any pits or divots after the process.

That's it! Now your VCM 40 is ready to accept the 0180 bowl seals.
