Description

This kit is a complete replacement kit for the auxiliary lid spring assemblies for the VCM 44s with a motorized baffle (VCM 44-E). The extra weight on the lid requires an external spring.

This is a JPM Parts original and proven design. Our design is easier to maintain, adjust and afford.Ā 

  • Fine Spring Adjustment
    • Dial in your desired tension with our fine tune adjustment ring, as shown below.
  • Stainless Steel Construction
  • Dual Feature
    • Adjust tension to assist with lift
    • Adjust tension to buffer the weight in the resting and open position
  • Lid Spring Type
    • The same lid spring is used in the internal and external location
  • Installs in the OEM External Stop
    • The external spring stop installs in the OEM receptacle located on the outside of the electrical box. Make sure your VCM 44 E has the external receptacle installed. It is required to work with our kit, as shown here:
